This guide is for authors to ensure their books meet our professional quality standards and are optimised for discoverability on our platform.

  • File Formats:

    • Ebook: We require a finalised EPUB file for broad compatibility. A PDF is acceptable for graphic-heavy books.

    • Audiobook: We require a high-quality MP3 or M4A file with consistent volume levels and chapter breaks.

    • Print-on-Demand (POD): A high-resolution print-ready PDF for both the interior and the cover.

  • Quality Checklist:

    • Editing: Your manuscript must be professionally edited and proofread.

    • Cover Design: Your cover must be a high-resolution, genre-appropriate file (300 dpi minimum).

    • Formatting: The interior formatting should be clean, consistent, and free of errors.

  • Metadata is Key: For maximum discoverability, you'll need to provide rich metadata:

    • Genres/Sub-genres: Select specific genres (e.g., Young Adult Fantasy) and sub-genres.

    • Tropes: Choose from our list of popular BookTok/Bookstagram tropes (e.g., "enemies-to-lovers," "found family").

    • Content Warnings: Disclose any sensitive topics to help influencers and readers.

    • Author Bio: A compelling, short biography to help readers connect with you.
